| Trilingual translation of "Shri Sukhmani Sahib Ji" released | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 27: Nami Dogri Sanshta in collaboration with Jammu Civil Society for Art and Literature organised release of Trilingual Translation of "Shri Sukhmani Sahib Ji" by Fazil Kashmiri at K. L. Sehgal Hall, Jammu. Vijay Bakaya, Former MLC and Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir was the Chief Guest on the occasion whereas the function was presided over by eminent Punjabi writer Khalid Hussain Sahib. Sohail Kazmi. Aslam Qureshi, President, Jammu Civil Society for Art and Literature and Advocate Dogra Harish Kaila, President, Nami Dogri Sanstha (Regd.) also co-shared the dias. S. S. Bijral, Former IGP was felicitated on the occasion for the 2nd edition publication and his outstanding services for the cause. Capt. Lalit Sharma IFS in his opening address welcomed the audience and expressed that Shri Sukhmani Sahib is prayer of peace and joy of mind for the devotees and mankind. He said that Shri Sukmani Sahib composed in Gauri raga by fifth Guru of Sikhs Sri Arjan Dev Ji deals with efforts for spiritual progress. He said the release of 2nd edition of trilingual translation of Shri Sukmani Sahib Ji is most auspicious and historical occasion for NDS. Aslam Qureshi said that Shri Sukhmani Sahib Ji is very relevant in today's world which is growing absolutely materialist. The Sukhmani Sahib emphasizes upon a meaningful life rather than wasting it for amassing wealth ruthlessly with greed. |
