| Advisor's visit to SSH leaves doctors in anguish | | |

JAMMU, Dec 27: Resentment brewed among doctor fraternity against the incumbent management of the Super specialty hospital Jammu as only a few senior doctors were informed about the yesterday visit of Advisor to Governor K Vijay Kumar in Super Specialty Hospital Jammu.
Regretting the secretive attitude of the management with regards to the visit of the Advisor, the doctors said that it was unprecedented that they were kept in dark about the visit and later, they were restrained from presenting the real picture of the department as well as the functioning of the administration.
"If the deficiencies other issues which are being faced by the doctors would not be highlighted before the Advisor during his visit, how can the things be improved?," a doctor asked.
"Yesterday incident clearly shows that the some of the blue-eyed officials, who have vested interest, do not want to let anyone improve things in the health institutions", sources alleged, adding that due to such things the needy are suffering a lot and no one is lending them an ear.
Sources said that some doctors were leaving no stone unturned to present the wrong image of the health institutions by not introducing advance equipment and procedures. |
