Dogra Front & Shiv Sena protest, demand removal of Rohingyas | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 27: The workers of Dogra Front and Shiv Sena under the leadership of President Ashok Gupta held a protest outside the Jammu Municipal Corporation and demanded the removal of Rohingya Rehriwalas and stop the harassment of local people who are trying earning an honest livelihood. Addressing gathering, Ashok Gupta described Rohingya as the biggest threat to the communal harmony and composite culture of Jammu, and despite their proven links with militant outfits and suspected role in terror attacks a concrete form of action is lagging as these people are settled and working in Jammu. He stated that these Rohingyas are moving in the city as beggars and hawkers which make them acquainted with the nook and corner of the city which is a grave threat as per the security aspect. In places like wave mall and other small enterprises these people are working which is not only making their local youth unemployed but giving these Rohingyas a great edge over the security. He stated the infiltrators are given mobile phone, I-cards, Aadhaar cards, even 'permanent resident' cards, illegal power and water connections, and allowed to grab State lands and build houses on them. Funds for them are raised through hawala channels and routed through local NGOs. He also said that these Rohingyas are nothing more than a danger to the civilised society as Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army attacked police posts in Maungdaw, Myanmar; over 100 people died. The jihadis also attacked the Hindu minority in Rakhine; over 500 were slaughtered; the Army later found mass graves with Hindu bodies. |
