BJP trains guns at police, admin for failure to nab Parihar brothers' killers | | | Early Times Report KISHTWAR, Dec 27: Launching a direct and scathing attack on Kishtwar Police and administration for their failure to arrest the culprits involved in killing of BJP State Secretary Anil Parihar and his brother Ajeet Parihar, the BJP held a strong protest here today. Led by former MLA and BJP state general secretary Sunil Sharma, hundreds of BJP supporters took out a protest march upto DC office complex Kishtwar to put pressure on Kishtwar Police and NIA to expedite the probe into the killings of Parihar brothers. Speaking on the occasion, Sunil Sharma accused Kishtwar police of inaction against the culprits involved in killing of Parihar brothers adding that Kishtwar police is trying to shield the culprits as it is not supporting and cooperating with the NIA in its probe. He said that they give 19 days to Kishtwar police to apprehend the culprits before the government of India handed over the probe to NIA. He said that NIA is a reputed investigating agency added that they are hopeful that NIA will bring the culprits involved behind the killings of Parihar brothers to book. He said that in case NIA too fail, they will hold similar protests. He also launched a scathing attack on National Conference and PDP for opposing the installation of bunkers. "Bunkers are for the security of common people without considering his religion. Those opposing the bunkers should first surrender their security and they should also remove the bunkers installed outside their homes," said Sharma. He said that BJP will strongly oppose any move of police and administration to disarm the VDCs and ask the VDC and DDC members to inform local BJP units in case they were asked to surrender their arms. Earlier, the BJP Muslim Morcha president from Kishtwar termed the detention and questioning of youths so far by the Kishtwar police in connection with the killings of Parihar brothers as cosmetic adding that all those questioned so far are innocent, while real culprits were still at large. |
