| HC stays transfer of Patwari | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 16: In a petition filed by Bashir Ahmed Patwari challenging the impugned order dated 04.01.2019 on the ground that he has been ordered to be transferred prematurely and without any authority from Village Deeli, PH Digiana to Village Chakrowi Tehsil Suchet Garh, Jammu.
Vacation Judge of J&K High Court Jammu Wing Justice Sanjay Gupta after hearing Adv Vishal Goel for the petitioner issued notice to the respondents and ordered that subject to objections from other side and till next date of hearing before the Bench, status quo with regard to the posting of petitioner as it exists on today shall be maintained.
While ordering status-quo, Vacation Judge Sanjay Gupta observed that during the course of arguments counsel for the petitioner has produced a photocopy of the order dated 07.01.2019 passed by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir, Revenue Department, Civil Secretariat, Jammu/Srinagar, where by all the transfers/postings of Patwaries of District Jammu in respect of the officials/others mentioned in the said order has been kept in abeyance till the Government takes a call/considered view in the matter. The petitioner figures at serial No. 1 in the said order. |
