Bhandari urges ALC Kishtwar to release marriage assistance

Kishtwar, Jan 16: A Senior Leader and Social activist of District Kishtwar has urged to the Assistant Labour Commissioner to release marriage financial assistance to 88 beneficiaries. Bhandari in his statement has said that the Chief Executive Officer /Secretary, J&K Building and other Construction Welfare Board has sanctioned marriage financial assistance to the tune of Rs 25 Lac in favour of 88 beneficiaries vise sanction order No. 965-JKBOCWWB of 2015 dated 6.1.2015 and letter No. CEO/J&K/BCB/015/3736-40 dated 6.1.2015 but since a period of more than 4 years have been lapsed, the beneficiaries have yet not been released the financial marriage assistance for which the beneficiaries are suffering a lot. He has demanded an immediate enquiry through Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar as to why the marriage assistance payment was not paid to the beneficiaries.
