MPDA urges Governor for redressal of Transport Nagar' issues | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 16: Motor Parts Dealers Association urged the Governor J&K to intervene the problems of Transport Nagar/ ISBT Narwal Jammu. The members of the association said that they have already submitted the memorandum of their demands to all concerned authorities, even Advisor to Governor last month but still not received any response on ground. They further said that the Transport Nagar established in 1990 and developed by JDA but nothing has been done after the establishment neither by JMC regarding the cleanness of blocked drains & black topping of Roads & Lanes of all Seven Yards. Transport Nagar fully functional and completely encroached by Road sides Work Shops, Illegal kiosk, Scrap Dealers & unauthorized illegal parking of Junked Trucks, Buses, oil tankers & Cars without their engine , Tyre & without Road tax documents. Since last three years to four years. JDA issued warning to the encroachers but all in vain, no authority is interested in earning of government revenue. There should be regular anti encroachment drive with joint operation of three agencies ( traffic police, JDA & JMC ) in all Seven Yards of Transport Nagar Jammu. |
