mendhar, Jan 16: In its efforts to provide medical facilities to the people residing in far flung areas, the Romeo force Mendhar organised a medical and veterinary camp today on the Op Hill stadium Mendhar in Mendhar area of Poonch district to cater to the medical needs of people and livestock. A defence spokesman said the people belonging to areas of Mendhar, Harni, Nakamanghari, Jughal, Kalaban and Dharna attended the camp. "A medical officer and dental officer of the army were assisted by a team of doctors & specialists from Sub Divisional Hospital Mendhar, to provide specialist medicare to the populace. A veterinary doctor also provided medical advice and medicines for the animals. A total of 300 civilians and 50 animals were treated in the medical camp. |
