| Motivational lecture organized at GCW Gandhi Nagar | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 19: 'THE - SARA' a registered Non-Profit organization under 'Mission Mental Health Support' in coordination with Career Counselling Cell of Government College for Women Gandhi Nagar Jammu conducted motivational lecture session.
During the programme Pardeep Dutta, senior journalist Times Now in his motivational talk shared his experience and stressed that education is of a vital importance which leads to the establishment of a sound, wholesome and productive society.
Shagun Singh, lawyer and activist made students aware about their legal rights. She said the violation of women's fundamental rights through physical, mental, emotional, and sexual violence against women has become almost commonplace in the Indian context.
Dr. Raminder Jit Singh, Public Health Management Specialist shared his thoughts with the students and stressed educating and giving power to the women is of great importance which needs to be followed in the Society to bring women empowerment and development of Society.
Head of College Career & Guidance Cell Anupama Gupta welcomed the guests and also presented vote of thanks. On the occasion Principal of the GCW Gandhi Nagar Prof. Kaushal Smotra and Gurjeet Kour President of 'THE - SARA' were also present. |
