Akhnoor, Jan 19: Akhnoor police to day claimed to have arrested an absconder who was evading his arrest since long.
Police spokesman said that team comprising of HC Joginder Singh, HC Mohd. Khan, Sgct. Munshi Ram and Sgct. Raj Kumar arrested the absconder namely Joginder Singh of Maira Jagir, Akhnoor presently staying at Delhi. He was involved in a case under FIR No. 35/1994 under sections 451 and 323 of RPC registered at police station Akhnoor and was evading his arrest since long.
After his arrest, SHO AKhnoor produced him in the court of law.
The court has already issued warrant under section 512 Cr.PC against the above said absconder. |
