Poonch, Jan 19: Poonch people are in nosophobia due to continued drinking of paltry water.
According to the sources, many school going children, women and other visitors have fallen found ill due to contaminated drinking water.
Many college students, who live in rented accomodation in Poonch town have found many dead insects in drinking water". Wali Mohd Sheikh and Azad Chouhan have said, if the conditions of drinking water in town are such, where all district officers including Deputy Commissioner and SSP are having sight on issues, then what conditions should be in rural areas?. They have appealed to Chief Engineer of PHE to intervene into the matter personally and ensure pure water supply. |
