JAMMU, Jan 23: A man was found hanging under mysterious circumstances at his residence at Trikuta Nagar falling under the jurisdiction of police station Bahu Fort
The deceased has been identified as Ranjeet Singh (48) son of Gurveer Singh of Sector No. 1 Trikuta Nagar.
Police said that he was found hanging at his residence with the help of iron angle and rope.
After getting information, police reached on the spot and shifted him to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) where he was declared as brought dead.
Later the body was shifted to the mortuary of the hospital for legal formalities.
Police said that inquest proceedings have been initiated to ascertain the exact cause of death. |
