NCP demands action against corrupt politicians, bureaucrats

Jammu, Feb 2: A working committee meeting of senior leaders of National Congress Party (NCP) was held under the chairmanship of former Minister Thakur Randhir Singh NCP Chief J&K state.
State NCP working committee has demanded strong action from the government administration against NC Ex MLC Dr Shenaz Ganai who has withdrawn Rs 9511 lakhs out of her CDF without execution of any work on ground. And, also against PDP Ex MLC Firdous Ahmed Tak who has withdrawn Rs 52.90 Iakhs without execution of works as it was reported in leading newspaper Early times .
He added that both these legislators ignored the people of the most backward areas of Dachan, Mahwah and Inderwal blocks of Kishtwar and funds were swindled by the political workers -RDD official nexus without execution of the work on ground. State NCP further demanded withdrawal of security cover, govt accommodation and other facilities which they are misusing. Singh said if corruption among politicians and bureaucrats is removed than period of Bakshi Gulam Mohd, G M Sadiq and Afzal Beigh will return, they were the most secular, honest and capable people.
Thakur Randhir during the meeting congratulated Piyush Goel Union Finance Minister and leading Chartered accountant by presenting interim budget -2019 making a big populist push in its final budget before elections, exempted people with an earning of up to Rs 5 lakh from payment of income tax, announced an annual cash dole-out of Rs 6.000 to small farmers and provided a monthly pension of Rs 3,000 to workers in the unorganized sector.
