In continuation to its drive against the menace of bovine smuggling, Sidhra police today claimed to have arrested one bovine smuggler and rescued 15 animals.
Police spokesman said that today a police party of police post Sidhra led by SI Parvaiz Ahmed khanday-Incharge police post Sidhra raised a special naka at Sidhra bridge and intercepted oneTruk bearing registration number JK02W-3317 and during checking of the vehicle it was found loaded with 15 bovine animals. Spokesman further dsaid that one bovine smuggler namely Mohd Fazail of Gursai Mendhar was arrested.
In this connection, a case under FIR no. 62/2019 under section 188 of RPC and 3/5 PCA act have been registered at Nagrota police station and investigation started. |
