Jammu, Feb 14: The students of DPS Udhampur performed exceptionally well at the District level Gitoku-Kai-Karate-Do Championship held at Rotary club Jammu. Students from Delhi Public School emerged as the winner by leaving others behind and bagging Gold, Silver and Bronze medals and runner trophy. Students who received Gold Medal are Aditya (3B), Suhana Manzur( 7A), Anshita Kudyar (5A), Dhruv Singh (6A), Tejal Mahajan (3B), Sneha of 11th got Bronze medal. The students were trained by Mr. Uday from sports department of DPS Udhampur. Dr Kunal Anand, Principal DPS, while congratulating the winners said that at DPS, sports is an integral part of the curriculum and the school provides ample opportunities to the students to expose themselves at various district, state and national level championships. DR JC Gupta Pro Vice Chairman of the school hailed the efforts of the students and appreciated the good work of the sports department. |
