| Absconder arrested after 6 years | | |

Samba, Mar 8: Police of Samba district today claimed to have arrested an absconder who was evading his for last six years.
Police spokesman said that a Police Party of Ghagwal police station headed by Inspector Rajeev Kumar-SHO Ghagwal under the supervision of Deepak Digra-Dy. SP Hqrs, Samba effected the arrest of absconder namely Mohamad Yaqoob of Mandi Kahanpur, Tehsil Pathankot, Punjab from the Jatwal area who was wanted in a case under FIR No. 50/2013 under section 188 of RPC and 2/3 PCA Act registered at Ghagwal police station. The said absconder who was evading his arrest for the last 06 years after commission of crime, produced in the court of law. Thus warrant issued against him under 512 CrPC got executed and the accused was send to Sub- Jail Hiranagar.
The said arrest was made under the overall supervision of Dr. Koshal Sharma-SSP Samba. |
