Jammu, Mar 8: Team of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today arrested a Railway Superintendent Jammu for demanding and accepting Rs 10,000 as bribe from a parking contractor.
According to sources, acting on a complaint lodged by Ashwani Kumar regarding demanding of Rs 10,000 as bribe from him by AJay Gupta-Railway Superintendent, team of CBI today raided the office of Railway Superintendent Jammu and arrested him red handed demanding and accepting bribe of Rs 10,000. CBI has arrested him while further investigation is going on.
Meanwhile, team of CBI also raided the house of the Railway Superintendent at Nanak Nagar and seized records for further security. |
