| Instead of removing, Govt should amend Article 35A: Shiv Sena | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 8: Chairman of Shiv Sena, Vipin Hindu, Ashwani Gupta the working President and others said before removing the Article 35A, the government should give second thought for the completely safe guard the interest of Jammu people.
Addressing media persons, the leaders said that it can be amended and should not be removed completely to safe guard the interest of Jammu region. As in Jammu region there are already so many residents living who are not the state subject. "Agree the rights of the women marring outside the J&K should be protected. If the article is removed completely the rights of the public of Jammu will not be protected as no one will go and settle in Kashmir due to the turmoil in valley, all the burden will be on Jammu region only. Already there are huge numbers of fake state subject certificate holders in Jammu and some of them have acquired huge properties in Jammu on fake state subjects certificate". Shiv Sena is in favour of certain amendments in article 35A ,such as protecting the woman rights who marry outside J&K and total removal will prove disaster for the region of Jammu and it will benefit only those outsiders who have acquired huge properties illegally on the fake PRC or PRC acquired on fake documents. Other senior leaders who were present were, Nathpal Chodhary, Sanjeev, Varun Gupta, Ajay Gupta, Ankush and bisheak. |
