6 Pakistan army soldiers killed in LoC firing by Indian troops | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 11: Taking a strong action in retaliation to the repeated ceasefire violations by the Pakistan Army, the Indian Army has killed six Pakistani soldiers in the cross-firing at the Line of Control in the Rajouri sector of Jammu and Kashmir in the last one week, Army sources said here. "In our action against Pakistani positions, six Pakistani soldiers were killed. We have confirmed this through intercepts of the Pakistan Army communication in the Rajouri sector," sources said. The Indian Army deployed the 105-mm field artillery guns, Vijayant tank turrets and the Bofors 52 caliber guns in direct fire mode on Pakistani positions in the area. Pakistan has increased the ceasefire violations along the Line of Control after the airstrikes by the Indian Air Force on February 26 on Jaish-e-Mohammed terror training camp. In the last two months, Pakistan has violated ceasefire on the Line of Control on more than 450 occasions. The Army has also intensified its operations against the terrorists in the Kashmir Valley as the forces have been successful in eliminating 44 terrorists in the Kashmir Valley. |
