| M.Ed students visits DPS Nagbani | | | Jammu, Mar 11: M.Ed students of Govt. College of Education, Jammu (GCOE), a constituent college of cluster University, visited Delhi Public School Nagbani, Jammu-(West) today. The visit was a part of internship programme of M.Ed students under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Neelam Dhar (Course, Coordinator) and Prof. (Dr.) Rajinder Kour. The visit was to know about the innovative techniques that the school is having for providing quality education to the students. The students and staff of the college were welcomed by the Principal of the school R. K. Verma who apprised the visiting students about the functioning of DPS Nagbani under the aegis of The Delhi Public School Society, New Delhi and affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi. The school is situated in 12.5 acres of land surrounded by more than 150 acres of orchards and fields.
The school has been awarded Gold Rated Green School by Indian Green Building Council. He appraised the students about the CBSE curriculum and guidelines which the school is following for providing quality education.
Prof. (Dr.) Neelam Dhar (Course, Coordinator) and Prof. (Dr.) Rajinder Kour alongwith M.Ed. students thanked Verma for his concern and information shared by him. They also thanked the school management for giving an opportunity to visit and see the functioning of the school. |
