Kathua, Mar 11: Keeping in view the forthcoming Parliamentary Elections 2019 in Jammu and Kashmir and as per the guidelines issued by Election commission of India for smooth conduct of free, fair and peaceful Parliamentary Elections 2019 in Kathua, it is informed to all licensed weapons owners to deposit their weapons at their respective Police Stations without any delay. Security guards at banks, PSUs, non-government institutions etc however can retain their weapons after obtaining proper permission from Police against genuine grounds to retain the same. Kathua Police appeals to citizens of Kathua to report any violation in this regard to Police on numbers 01922-234311, 234100. |
