Rajouri, Mar 11: School of Management Studies, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Started two weeks workshop on Professional Development. The aim of the workshop is to provide students with a learning experience that will help them to bridge the gap between current academic life at BGSBU and future professional life post-graduation. The workshop will provide career-preparation modules to give business students a competitive edge in acquiring desirable employment and career opportunities. Speaking on the occasion, Prof Naseem Ahmed, Dean School of Management Studies said that the workshop is designed specifically for Management students. He said that the workshop includes nuts and bolts guidelines for Time Management, Personality Development, Communication skills, Decision making, and Effective utilization of resources. While addressing the participants, Prof . Naseem Said that creating an academic, personal and professional development plan is a big step toward achieving your goals. Professionals from various reputed organizations will impart training to the participants during the workshop. A total of 80 students of MBA, BBA and B.VOC have registered for the workshop. Those who were present on the occasion included, Dr. Kafeel Ahmed, Nodal officer B.VOC, Dr. Darakshan Anjum, Dr. Danish Iqbal, Vinay kumar, Tazeem Akhter and Payal Koul. |
