| Revenue Deptt partially demolishes illegal constructions along Highway in Bijbehara | | |

ANANTNAG, Mar 15: A team of Revenue Department led by Tehsildar Bijbehara today demolished some structures partially, that were being raised in violation of Land Revenue Act and Ribbon Development Act.
Taking cognizance of Early Times Report, Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Anantnag directed Tehsildar Bijbehara to initiate action against one Imtiyaz Ahmad Salroo s/o Mohammad Yasin Salroo R/o Salia Anantnag who was found violating Section 133 of J&K Agrarian Reforms Act. 1976.
"Undersigned visited the spot at Pazalpora Bijbehara and found one Imtiyaz Ahmad Sal oo has raised a construction in the grab of residential house and is operating a Para-medical college in it. Now the violator has again started raising a construction which was partially demolished," a reported submitted to ACR Anantnag by Tehsildar Bijbehara reads.
Team led by Naib-Tehsiladr Bijbehara was attacked by Imtiyaz and some goons and re-started the construction activity, reads the letter addressed to ACR Anantnag. Tehsildar Bijbehara has also written to Station House Bijbehara and directed him to register an FIR against the violator vide letter No. 832/OQ/19 Dated 15-03-2019. |
