Jammu, Mar 15: Brig. Raghu V Sadhotra Deputy Directorate General, J&K Directorate, NCC called upon the students to became part of the Armed forces and exhibit true patriotism.
During his maiden visit to GDC Udhampur, Brig. Sadhotra lauded the role of armed forces and categorically stressed upon the fact that Indian Army is one of the most professional armies of the world that performs its duties efficiently in most challenging situation. Earlier on his arrival, he was given the Guard of Honor in traditional Army style by NCC Cadets. He also planted a sapling in the College.
The Principal of the College Prof(Dr). Nutan Kumar Resutra delivered the welcome address on the occasion and deliberated upon the need of the hour to shun religious biases and remain united for the welfare of the Nation. The vote of thanks was delivered by Lt.(Dr). Kamaldeep Kaur, ANO (Girls) of the College.
