| 4 bovines rescued, vehicle seized | | | | SAMBA, Mar 15: Police claimed to have succeeded in foiling bovine smuggling bid in the jurisdiction of Police Station Ghagwal by rescuing 4 bovines. As per information, a Police Party of P/S Ghagwal headed by Inspector Rajeev Kumar, under the supervision of Deepak Digra DySP Hqrs. Samba during vehicle checking naka at NHW Tapyal, signaled to stop Mahindra Vehicle without Regd. No. which was coming from Kathua side. During checking of the said vehicle, 4 bovines were found laden inside the vehicles which were being transported illegally without any permission. All the bovines were rescued and shifted to safer place. The vehicle used for transporting the bovines was also seized. In this regard, a case FIR No. 26/2019 U/S 188 RPC, 2/3 PCA Act has been registered at P/S Ghagwal and investigation started. |
