| Debate Competition cum Culture event held | | |  Early Times Report
RAMBAN, Mar 15: District Information Centre (DIC) Ramban organized debate on the topic of "National Integration "at Kamal academy High School Chanderkote.
Principal of the host school Abdul Khaliq was the chief guest while Chairman Kamal Academy Dharam Singh was Guest of honour on the occasion. Senior Journalist Bilal Bali was acted as anchor.
Anamika Rani adjudged overall best while Khushboo Iqbal and Pooja Rani clinched 2nd and 3rd position in the debate competition.
As many as, 12 students from host school drawn from different classes participated in the Debate competition.
The debaters forcefully argued on the subject and educated students about the importance of National Integration in India.
Appreciating the role of Information Department, the chief guest, emphasised on the need to boost national integration in India for ensuring security, integrity, prosperity and brotherhood of Indians besides accelerating the development of nation in all aspects.
Principal also impressed upon the students to take part in extra circular activities for their overall development apart from their study. He exhorted the students to work for national integration.
Besides this competition, a colourful cultural programme was also presented by the artists and students.
Later, certificates and trophies were distributed among the best performers. |
