Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 15: Adbi Kunj organized a multilingual literary meet to commemorate International Women's Day, here today. The meet was attended by a large number of literary dignitaries and other literary lovers from different walks of the life. The function was presided over by a renowned poetess Smt. Santosh Nadan and a renowned Punjabi poet Raj Kamal was the special Guest of the meet while Bishan Dass Khak conducted the proceedings of function. In the opening, the speakers threw detailed light on the various aspects of the women's day. In the creative prose session, two write-ups were presented which include "Nari-Tarey-Kitne-Roop" (Hindi) by Santosh Nadan and "Mera-Dard" (Urdu) by M.S.Wafa. In the composite poetic session, the various poets recited their creations. The poets who participated in the meet include Chaman Sagoch, Ved Uppal, M.S. Wafa, Aarash Dalmotra, Bishan Dass Khak, Santosh Nadan, M.S.Kamra and Sham Talib. The meet was come to end with the vote of thanks by Aarash Dalmotra, Chairman of the Adbi Kunj, Jammu. |
