JAMMU, Mar 24: Janta Dal United state president G M Shaheen along with secretary general Beigh Mirza on Sunday received warm welcome by the leadership of JDU Jammu Provincial unit at Jammu Airport who is on 2 day visit to Jammu to announce LS candidates for Jammu region.
The party has already announced its Lok Sabha Candidate for Central Kashmir Shoukat Hussain Khan of Ganderbal in an impressive function organized at party headquarters Rajbagh Srinagar in presence of senior party leaders on March 22.
Shaheen while addressing the media outside the Jammu Airport said that the alliance between the two parties is not only opportunistic but a mere eyewash as well. He added that voters will give befitting reply to mainstream political parties who believed in dynastic politics just to remain in power.
"JDU is fully confident in winning LS polls which has announced by the party under the supervision of National President Nitish Kumar. Our party is fully committed to provide every opportunity to the people of the state including their fundamental rights and other long pending issues which will never be resolved and fulfilled by the mainstream political parties including Congress who have misleading the general masses of the state since decades," he said.
Secretary General Beigh Mirza in his address disclosed the JDU will announce its LS candidates for Jammu-Poonch and Doda-Udampur seats tomorrow as today we have called all the leadership of Jammu region to decide for LS candidates. |
