Geelani's hypocrisy exposed again
Pays tributes to Pak terrorists killed in Hajin; says minor got killed due to 'Kashmir issue'

Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 24: Terrorists taking an 11-year old boy Aatif Ahmed captive during an encounter in north Kashmir's Hajin area and killing him before the gun battle could end has once again exposed the deadly face of Pakistani terrorists active in the Valley.
Hurriyat hawk Syed Ali Shah Geelani issued a statement and expressed grief over minor boy's killing but did not condemn it. He paid tributes to the Pakistani militants for laying down their lives and tried to shift the blame on the security forces for minor getting killed.
"Hurriyat hawk did not even mention in his statement that the minor had been taken hostage by the terrorists and they killed him. Instead he claimed that minor was killed due to Kashmir being an issue. It's height of hypocrisy and double standards," an analyst told Early Times.
A source said that the terrorist Ali, who killed the minor, had been intimidating Aatif's family to get one of their daughters married to him. "To save their daughter from Ali, Aatif's family had sent her to other district. Aatif and his aide, who was also killed in the encounter, had occupied the house of the family three days before the encounter raged and were insisting that the family should get their daughter back," the source added.
He said that Aatif was killed to "teach family a lesson" and it was sheer act of vendetta. "People like Hurriyat hawk (Geelani) have never found any fault with the Pakistan sponsored terrorists as for them they are angels, who have been sent by the neighbouring country to fight the so-called holy war in Kashmir," said a Kashmir watcher.
He said that Aatif's killing should serve as an eye opener for the terrorist sympathizers and the people, who hit the streets to join the funerals of these killers. "It has been proven again and again that terrorists are not the well wishers of Kashmiris and their only aim is to promote bloodshed to keep the pot boiling," he added.
A video of Aatif's mother appealing terrorists to leave him went viral in Kashmir. Shareefa Bano, Aatif's mother, in the video could be heard pleading the terrorists to release her son but there was no response from the other side. "People who are propagating Pakistan's cause in Kashmir should tell the masses did Aatif, who had nothing to do with the conflict, deserve to die at such a young age? Can't these Pakistani stooges see that these terrorists are getting Kashmiris killed, properties destroyed and are even eyeing their daughters and sisters," said another analyst.
