Jammu, March 24: Continuing its efforts against the drug menace under operation Sanjeevni, District Police Jammu arrested a drug peddler at Peerkhu area and recovered over 5 gram heroin from his possession.
Police spokesman said that a police party of police party Chowk Chabutra led by HC Fiaz Ahmed, while patrolling in Peerkhu area apprehended one person, namely, Hari Darshan Vaid of Jain Bazar, Jammu, on whose personal search 5.870 gram heroin was recovered.
In this connection, a case under FIR No. 45/2019 under section 8/21/22/ NDPS Act has been registered in Pacca Danga police station and investigation has been initiated. |
