| ABDPSS celebrates Shrimad Bhagwat saptah | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 24: Akhil Bhartiya Dharam Prachar Sewa Samiti celebrated "Shrimad Bhagwat saptah with "Matra Pitra Poojan"
A grand "Parents Worship Day" (Matra Pitra Pujan Diwas) was celebrated on the concluding day of Shrimad Bhagwat Saptah Katha at Domana, Jammu . The event was organized by Akhil Bhartiya Dharam Prachar Sewa Samiti, Jammu Kashmir. People from various walks of life attended the event with great fervor and deity. Janak Shastri ji Maharaj was the Chief Guest whereas Acharya dinesh Sharma, Bhupinder Shastri and Deepak Sharma ji was also present and witnessed the function. The function started at 12:00 pm with vedic mantras. Thereafter sermons from Swami Janak Shastri Ji, Bhupinder Shastri and Deepak Sharma. Children from all age group i.e from younger to elder ones worshipping their parents and showing their respect and gratitude towards them. Children from various schools also participated in the function.
Speaking on the occasion Janak Raj Shastri expressed that Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta is the need of the hour and stressed upon daily reading of Shrimad bhagwad Gita by all for overall self development and added that greatest quality of Bhagwad Geeta is that it prompts an individual to think, to take fair and right decision, to look at life differently and refreshingly without surrendering one's identity. Shastri lauded the efforts of the Akhil Bhartiya Dharam Prachar Sewa Samiti for organizing event as Mahotsav.
