| Absconder held after 9 years | | |

Samba, Mar 25: Bari Brahmana police today claimed to have arrested an absconder who was evading his arrest for last 9 years. Police spokesman said that a Police team of Bari Brahmana police station headed by SI Purab Singh under the supervision of Inspector-Darshan Singh-SHO Bari Brahmana and Sunil Kesar-SDPO Bari Brahmana effected the arrest of absconder namely Raj Kumar alias Raju of Jindrah from Bari Brahmana.
"The accused was wanted in a case under FIR No. 38/2009 under sections 457 and 380 of RPC registered at Bari Brahmana police station and was evading his arrest for the last 09 years after commission of crime," said spokesman adding that accordingly, the accused was produced in the court of law and warrant issued against him under 512 CrPC by Additional Munsiff JMIC Samba got executed and the accused send to Sub- Jail Hiranagar. |
