Mehbooba has forgotten JKLF abducted her sister; killed KPs, IAF personnel
3/25/2019 11:40:05 PM

Early Times Report
jammu, Mar 25: Kashmir centric politicians have been beating their chest over the decision of the government to ban JKLF in the state.
Former chief minister and president of the Peoples Democratic Party Mehbooba Mufti while referring to the ban imposed on JKLF said, "JKLF is committed to resolution through political means."
An analyst while talking to Early Times said that it seems that Mehbooba Mufti has forgotten that JKLF is the same outfit which had abducted her elder sister in nineties. "And what resolution is she is talking about. She should elaborate?" the analyst asked.
He said that "it's strange that despite Indian Air Force jets carrying out airstrikes at Balakot across the Line of Control (LoC) and sending a clear message to Pakistan, Mehbooba is still talking about some resolution."
The analyst said that Government of India has made it clear on number of occasions that Kashmir is a settled issue and there is nothing like any resolution. "Kashmir centric politicians should stop hoodwinking people by talking about such issues and concentrate on development and other agendas. They should stop poking their nose into the matters which don't fall in their domain," he added.
A Kashmir watcher said that politicians like Mehbooba are trying to appease the separatists and the Pakistan stooges so that they remain in their good books. "They just want to garner votes and to do so they can go to any extent," he added.
He said, "Investigations carried out by the National Investigating Agency (NIA) have proved it beyond doubt that JKLF leaders and activists were involved in orchestrating street protests and enforcing shutdowns and for that they were receiving huge money from their masters sitting across the Line of Control."
"It's high time for mainstream leaders to decide on whose side they are. They can't have the cake and eat it too," he added.
An observer said that JKLF is the same outfit which killed Kashmiri Pandits in the Valley in nineties and forced them to migrate from the Valley. "Calling it a group, which is non-violent, is nothing but a shame. Decision of the Government of India to ban JKLF is a step in the right direction. JKLF chief Yasin Malik was involved in the killing of Indian Air Force (IAF) personnel in Srinagar in early nineties. That case needs to be reopened and he should be punished for being involved in the cold blooded murder of the unarmed IAF men," he added.
He said that Kashmir centric politicians should stop advocating the cause of Pakistan stooges and concentrate on the role which has been assigned to them otherwise "they could also face the ban."
