Sources said that, Bharatiya Janata Party leader M. M War on Monday said that an FIR should be registered against National Conference senior leader Akbar Lone for his recent statements. War who filed nomination papers for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections told reporters that Lone was enacting a drama for votes by issuing misleading statements against India. Here sources informed ET that, BJP State Spokesperson has sent a letter to Chief Electoral Officer J&K stating that Muhammad Akbar Lone through his speech resorted to ultimate disrespect to the country by raising pro Pakistan slogan "Pakistan zindabad" which has hurt the sentiments of people of not only Jammu and Kashmir but also the people of entire country. ET has learnt from sources that, NC candidate for Baramulla Parliamentary constituency Akbar Lone has hit back at BJP to file an FIR against him for shouting "Pro-Pakistan" slogans. Sources said that on the sidelines of an election rally at Tangmarg, Lone had said that, "He would defend article 370 and article 35-A in Parliament. |
