kathua, Mar 25: A total of three candidates today filed their nomination for Udhampur Parliamentary Constituency at the office of Returning Officer, Kathua. Vikramaditya Singh filed his nomination on the mandate of Indian National Congress whereas, Bahujan Samaj Party fielded T R Bhagat as its candidate from Udhampur Lok Sabha seat. One independent candidate, Mohd. Ayub also filed his nomination today, RO, Rohit Khajuria informed. Notification for election on 5- Udhampur Parliamentary Constituency was issued on 19 March and last date for filing nomination is 26 March. Scrutiny of nominations will be done on 27 March whereas, nominations can be withdrawn on 29 March, RO, Rohit Khajuria informed and added that a total of four candidates were in fray till this date for Udhampur Parliamentary seat. |
