| Sanskritian gets a Scholarship under SOF Girl Child Scholarship Scheme | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 25: Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu got a scholarship under SOF Girl Child Scholarship Scheme with the aim that no girl child in our vicinity shall remain illiterate and at the same time should not develop the inferiority complex by taking amount from us as a gesture of charity.
Janvi Sharma of Class IV was awarded with Rs. 5000. It is pertinent to mention here that this scholarship is for those girls who are academically inclined & came from financially weaker section of the society.
Congratulating the single parent Sakshi and her ward, Principal cum Vice Chairperson of the school, Rohini Aima asserted that no doubts many such schemes are available for our girls but the problem is the ignorance of the availability.
This initiative will continue further with same ebullience in the years to come so as to enhance the literacy rate among girls which will definitely contribute towards upliftment of the society. |
