AKM artists receive 12 awards in JKAACL drama festival

Reasi, Mar 29: Abhinaya Kala Manch Reasi got twelve awards in drama festival 2019 being organized by J&K Academy of Art, Culture and languages at Jyotipuram. Drama Festival-2019 being organized by JKAACL at Jyotipuram. Abhinaya Kala Manch presented Badal Sircar's Hindi play "Spartacus" and got best production award along with twelve other awards included Best direction award to Shadab Khan, best actor and best set award to Neeraj Kesa, best costume award to Rifat Yasmeen, best lights design award to Aasim Khan, Consolation award as best actress won by Anjali Anand, certificate of merit was goes to Rohit Kumar, Shubam Sahwani, Arun Verma, Manjeet Singh and Sawan Sangral. Hindi play" Kali Dhoop" was adjudged second in best production award by Triple "A" Performing Arts Reasi and also got best actress award by Poonam Rani, best Music ward won by Raja Aamir Khan & Kamal Chandpuri, Consolation award in make-up won by Raja Aamir Khan, Poonam Rani got direction. Deepak Singh got 2nd best actor and M. Akram Khan got best make-up award in the play Chor Chor Museray Bhai. Total five theatre groups from districts Reasi & Udhampur participated in the festival.
