'Pakistani frustration getting more visible ahead of Parliament elections' | Day after Modi's earthshaking rally, Pak aggression on Jammu frontiers | | Early Times Report jammu, Mar 29: A day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a rally here speaking tough against terror and Pakistan, the enemy country resorted to unprovoked shelling along the Jammu frontiers making the frustration of Modi's counterpart Imran Khan more visible than before. An army official said that Pakistan initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation in Mankote and Krishna Ghati sectors of the district at 7:30 am. Pertinently morning is the time when the villagers are busy in their fields and it seems that Pakistan doesn't want poor villagers along Jammu border and the LOC to do their work normally as they continue to be constant target of the Pakistani aggression on Indian soil. Officials said though Indian forces retaliated with shelling the villagers continue to live under fear. Observers believe that Pakistan is unnerved by the Modi's speech against terror and his decision to act tough on militants, separatists and their sympathizers in Kashmir. 'He Imran Khan is frustrated. Pakistani frustration getting more visible with each passing day and the way they have targeted Poonch only a few hours after Modi rally, is a clear cut message that Pakistan will try to keep the pot boiling along the Jammu frontiers during Parliament elections," said a political analyst. Just two days ago the Pakistan had resorted to shelling in Rajauri sector. That day as per the villagers, a heavy firing of artillery was started by Pakistani forces at about on Monday night, which continued until Tuesday morning. Sources in defence forces said Pakistan has reportedly deployed armed drones and Chinese missile defence systems near the Indian border in the past few days to keep a tab on movements of the Indian Air Force (IAF) and the Indian Army. The IAF had conducted a non-military pre-emptive air strike against terror infrastructure in Balakot inside Pakistan on 26 February following the Pulwama attack. In the past around a month, atleat two persons were killed in Pakistani shelling in the state whereas around a dozen were wounded. The villagers of Rajauri and Poonch districts have been complaining that their normal life has been badly affected by the Pakistani aggression. |
