| SMIS organizes an Orientation Programme | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 29: With the aim of initiating a harmonious learning process and to familiarize parents with the institutional ethos, Shubh Memorial International School (SMIS) organized an orientation programme for the parents of the students of primary wing. The event embodied several interactive and engaging activities that helped parents in getting an insight about the curriculum and teaching pedagogy of the school. The event which was well attended by a legion of parents commenced with the welcome address by the coordinator, Miss Renu Sharma who elaborated the spirit of the school and touched upon the concepts and values ingrained in the curriculum. She highlighted the crucial role of parents in a Child's education and threw spotlight on the characteristic feature of the primary program.
Addressing the parents Principal, Shilpa Mahajan said, "Behind every young child who believes in herself is a parent who believed first" she reiterated the role of parents in shaping the life of the children and called equal partnership of parents in building the foundation of childs carrier. Later on, The interactive session served by Dr. Dheeraj Mehratra a white and yellow belt in six sigma a certified NLP Business Diploma Holder and Educational innovator, Author and Limca book of records and India book of records Awardee on quality parenting Skills, discussing issues related to a growing child which eased the obvious anxiety of families during this important educational transition. |
