Tall claims of CEO of J&K only hollow slogans

MENDHAR, Mar 29: In a recent development taken place in the village ( Surhoothi) of Mendhar of Poonch District where a polling station namely PS Jabbran Surhoothi on serial no. 97 is shifted to MS Khorooni in conveyance with Booth level officer by making fake document of school building conditions.
Voters of said polling station, when came to know such development of changing polling station of PS Jabbran to another school approached Sub Divisional Magistrate Mendhar with an application for not shifting their polling station which on records for the last 40year's. Even school condition certificate is also given concerned teacher of PS Jabbran Surhoothi to them.
Voters of Polling Station led by Seniors citizens said that on day today programs as we listening on Radios , TV and appeal in Districts Level by officers for Maximum participation of public in electrol process are only hollow slogans. We are not feeling hesitate to say that such tactics and ignorance will result of Harassing common old aged public, paragant ladies, handicapped people, Ailing voters of health issues in reaching polling station and had made more difficult for them .
They approached District Election Commissioner office with resolution of Panchayat and plea of not shifting their old polling station to another school which is far away of about 4km on foot.
They further approac-hed District Session court Poonch with writ Petition to Honble Court with same plea and demanding not to release single penny which meant for road connectivity for PS Jabran as per release order given by Pwd department on the name of fake bills.
They further made an appeal to Chief Election Commissioner Jammu and Kashmir to personally intervened in the matter and direction should be given to District Election Commissioner Poonch not to shift the polling station of PS Jabbran Surhoothi to another school and otherwise which will Compell us to boycott voting process on 11th April 2019.
