Vikramaditya dares Jitendra to show single development project he brought
3/29/2019 11:37:54 PM
Early Times Report
REASI, Mar 29: Senior Congress leader and party candidate from Udhampur-Doda-Kathua Constituency Vikramaditya Singh on Friday questioned the "development" claims of the BJP and it candidate Jitendra Singh challenging him to identify one single developmental project he brought to the constituency.
He said that the Bharatiya Janata Party's so called development projects cannot be seen beyond the hoardings and billboards put up along the highways to deceive people. "Their development can be well gauged by visiting far-off places of the constituency where people are crying for basic amenities and have been forced to live a life of misery", the Congress' Lok Sabha candidate from Udhampur Constituency said while addressing a massive public rally in Reasi town.
Vikramaditya said that Congress has a one point agenda of providing dignified life to each and every citizen of this nation and its one and only plank for seeking people's support is development of all the regions of the State including the remote hamlets which unfortunately faced worst ever apathy of government in the last over four years when the so called 'Masiha' party, BJP was in power both at the State and the Centre.
Expressing surprise over locals complaining that the sitting BJP MP and Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh never visited them after the culmination of Lok Sabha polls in 2014, Vikramaditya urged them to rectify their earlier mistake this time by boycotting the BJP candidate in the coming Lok Sabha polls.
Vikramaditya promised to bring about colossal change in the region by way of transforming public infrastructure especially in the far off places where the need of basic amenities is far more than the city centers and the big towns.
Taking a jibe at BJP leaders' credibility, Vikramaditya said that their credentials are world known as they always look forward for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to even contest Panchayat polls.
