| Drug peddler held with 10 grams heroin | | |

Jammu, Mar 29: Gandhi Nagar police today claimed to have arrested a drug peddler and recovered 10 gram heroin from his possession. Police spokesman said that today police party from Gandhi Nagar police station raised a naka near Chunna Bhatti Ware House. "During naka checking, one Car bearing registration number JK02BQ-2156 was intercepted and on frisking/search 10 grams of Heroin was recovered from the possession of the driver of the car namely Varinder Singh alias DP of Lower Gadi Garh Jammu.
Police has taken cognizance and registered a case under FIR No. 84/2019 under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act while further investigation in this regard is on. |
