Kishtwar, Mar 31: District Magistrate Kishtwar vide order No. 144 of 2019 dates 28-02-2019 had directed all the Licensed weapon holders to deposit their weapons at concerned Police Station.
Since the last date for deposition of such weapons has expired, consequently under the supervision of Dy.SP DAR Kishtwar Adil Rishu, Insp. Suraj Pathnia of Police Staion chatroo lodged two FIRs viz FIR No. No 7/2019 and 8/2019 u/s 188RPC,21/25 (h) Arms Act at P/S Chatroo against Ab Rehman, Mangat Ram, Krishan Lal, Gh. Hussain, Nazir Ahmed and Ab. Ganim for not depositing their licensed weapons in concerned Police Station, thus violating the DM Kishtwar's orders. However, investigation of the case is going on and Kishtwar Police is identifying such more persons who have not yet deposited their licensed weapons in concerned Police Station so that action under law is taken against them. |
