Accused of objectionable posting on facebook, teacher denied bail | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 1: Principal Sessions Judge Reasi Kamlesh Pandita rejected the bail application of Mohd Irfan S/o Mohd Yousaf Shan, a private teacher who was booked by the Chassna Police for objectionable postings on facebook. The prosecution opposed the bail pleading that accused person has tried to create wedge between different communities and also tried to generate dissatisfaction against the Indian Government as well as State Govt. established by law . It further pleaded that the investigation is still going on and the bail to the accused person at this stage shall impinge upon the advancement of the investigation and also encourage the accused person to repeat the offences. Court observed that accused is not entitled to bail for the reasons that the accused has committed very heinous offences which are not against an individual but against whole of the society at large and such offences are required to be curbed well in advance to avoid any mistrust. Consequently this bail application of the accused person is out rightly rejected. |
