JAMMU, Apr 1: A day long awareness-cum-demonstration programme held at Jasrotia Park, Sector 3, Sainik Colony Jammu which was organized by Civil Defence Jammu under the supervision of Dy. SP Shashi Thakur, Dy. Controller Civil Defence, Jammu.
In the awareness camp locals and prominent citizens of the area were made aware about the knowledge of First Aid (CPR, Chocking,). Fire fighting, Air raid precautions and take safety measures during prevailing situation in the State by the Civil Defence Instructors.
While speaking on the occasion Dy. SP Shashi Thakur, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu, highlighted the role and importance of Civil Defence organization during prevailing situation in the state and delivered a valuable lecture on the topic of Disaster Management. She has also asked the people and prominent citizens join Civil Defence organization as a volunteer and serve the nation. |
