4/1/2019 11:15:49 PM
Early Times Report

JAMMU, Apr 1: The Jammu and Kashmir State Open Judo Championship was organized at MA Stadium, Jammu in which 23 students from the NGO Aradhana- a ray of hope (AAROH) took part in the said championship in various age categories.
The event which was marked by mass participation and multiple fast paced matches; saw 19 medals being won by these 23 students - 4 gold, 5 silver and 10 bronze. All the participants got special appraisal from Vikas Gupta, General Secretary J&K Judo Association and Joint Secretary, JFI. Furthermore, the NGO received a souvenir on behalf of the organizers.
AAROH, in addition to its various other programs, has been imparting free Judo classes to those kids who would otherwise find it difficult to afford the same.
