Rajouri, Apr 19: The new bus stand Rajouri was constructed to ease traffic congestion in Rajouri city but despite huge spending, the stand is in shambles, desisting people from visiting it.
The bus stand area is full of potholes, in which water gets accumulated frequently and started stinking. Locals alleged that municipal authorities issued tenders of Adda Parchi but where the money drained into doldrums. Locals also raised eyebrows on the working of district administration especially the Municipal Authorities Rajouri. "The bus stand is in the heart of city but the heart is virtually stinking, and none is interested to facelift the same", a local said, adding that the administration must blacktopped the entire area. |
