Early Times Report
KUPWARA, Apr 19: Students of the Government Middle School in Sudergund village in Langate area of Handwara in this north Kashmir district lacks motorable road to their school. Bashir Ahmad of Sudergund said that students of their area are facing many problems for want of a road to the school. The students have flayed the administration and their representatives for failing to provide them smooth access to the school, where as the school have a good roll of students, said a local resident. They said the road must be at least 8-10 feet broad so that students experience no problems. They said that if the authorities didn't pave the attention towards our problems, I believe the enrollment of students will automatically come down and for all this non serious approach, the concerned authorities will be themselves responsible. In past we have seen there are dozens of schools in Langate area, where the downfall in the enrollment lead to closure of schools due to various reasons and one of them were basic facilities. Pertinently this school falls in the jurisdiction of former MLA of Langate constituency that falls in Kupwara district. |
