JAMMU, Apr 19: Selection matches of Physically Challenged Cricketers for Picking Indian Team will be started from 20th of April, 2019 at Science College Cricket Ground Jammu. The matches shall be organized jointly by J&K Physically Challenged Cricket Association and J&K Cricket Association . In the inauguration ceremony Syed A.H. Bukhari, CEO JKCA has consented to be the Chief Guest, Jang Bahadur Singh Jamwal Member JKCA will preside over the function and Ravi Chouhan Founder Secretary of All India Physically Challenged Cricket Association shall be the Special Guest. Three teams of Physically Challenged Cricketers participating in the selection trial matches will be named after the departed CRPF soldiers who lost their lives on 14 feb. at Pulwama. Uttar Pradesh' Vinay yadav will lead Martyr Ramesh Yadav Eleven, Himachal Pradesh Yashpal will lead Capt. Martyr Raj Tilak Eleven whereas representing J&K Modh. Nadeem will lead Martyr Naseer Ahmed Eleven. Kumar, Prem Prakash, Ajay Bagri,Amit Gourav, Gurpreet, Firdous, Waseem Iqbal, Sapan Dey, Naresh kumar, Harinder Rawat, Mohit Chouhan and Sushail Baradwaj. Team Martyr Raj Tilak Eleven comprises of Yashpal, Soni, Sat Pal Sr., Sanjay Pal,ayaz Ahmad, Mani, Asit kumar, Tej Veer Bhatti, Ramesh Kaith, Mohit Sharma, Mahuj Alam, Rohit Kumar and Sandeep Kumar. And Team Martyr Naseer Ahmed Eleven comprises of Nadeem Bhat, Pawan Khokher, majid Ahmad,Naresh Solanki, Rovesh Kumar, Pardeep Bhadoria, Sudama, Azar Sheikh, Raj Mahaesh, Nagesh ingil, Kamal Kumar, Ashish and Gurmeet. The selection matches shall be conducted under the chairmanship of A.H. Bukhari, CEO JKCA, Jang Bahadur Singh Jamwal Member JKCA will be the Co-chairman, Ravi Chouhan Founder Secretary of Physically Challenged Cricket Association of India, Satish Gupta & Sukhjinder Singh Directors of the J&K PCCA, Ashish Singh Vice President of J&K PCCA, Sanjeev Mahajan Sports Advisor of J&K PCCA whereas Rajesh Gill Hon. President and Rajesh Dhar Hon.Secy of J&K PCCA will be the coordinators of these selection matches. The selected Indian team of Physically Challenged Cricket Association will be participating in the World Cup Championship for disabled Cricketers and the same will be hosted by England and Wales Cricket Board from 3rd to 17th of August, 2019 at England. It is pertinent to mention here that COA BCCI has already given nod to the Physically Challenged Cricket Association in India for participation of Indian Team in the disabled World Cup. |
