Electric live wires hang on trees, poses threat to locals | | | Early Times Report MENDHAR, Apr 22: The electric live wires hanging on trees in Surankote Village of Surankote Sub Division posing serious threat to the local residents of the area. Residents of Phagla said that at many places high and low voltage electric wires are hanging on the trees pose a threat to the residents, "It shows the callous attitude of the power development department (PDD) on the ground. They said most of the wooden poles installed in the area decades ago were damaged and instead of installing new cement or iron poles, PDD officials choose to hang wires on trees.
